......Continued (Q1. Why innocent children die when God is a Loving God)
Are People Really Innocent?
Bible tells us that at the time of creation, God looked at His creation and said "it is good"(Bible - Gen 1:10). However Bible also tells us that man sinned and God has to expel him out of his presence(or Garden of Eden or Paradise ). Islam(Quran - 2:36), and Judaism also share this belief. What happened after that is history, a history full of murders(Adam's son killed his own brother) and all kinds of other sins. Bible declares that every human being is born with this inclination towards sin. Even a child is born with this nature that is inclined towards sin. No wonder we have to teach our children to speak the truth(as far as lying is concerned they learn it themselves). In reality it is this "sinful nature" (and not actually committing a sin) that separate us from God, how else, for example you would explain the fact that After Adam(Hazrat Adam) was expelled from “Heaven/Jannat”, His children(Able…Habeel, and Cain…Qabeel) were also born outside of heaven, even though it was their father who sinned and not them?. We conclude, therefore, that every human being is born with this sinful nature at birth and separated from God even before he/she is able to do any "work", and consequently worthy of God's wrath that includes death. What does it mean? It means that even though we consider people innocent by birth, God does not think so and consider all of us sinners just because we are born with sinful nature, and that is why he does not consider us worthy of his presence or "Heaven" or "Jannat" and in order for us to go to “Jannat” we must prove ourselves by good deeds. onclusion: In God's sight none of us is “innocent” even though in our minds we think that we are.
Is God Really a Loving God?
Now Let us discuss the second point, which is "Loving God". Bible tells us that God loves us(every person of this world), which means in short that he does not want any of us to perish or go to Hell. As we have established in the first part of this answer, we are "not innocent" In God's eyes, and consequently by default not worthy of going to Heaven(Bible - Rom 3:23). If you still do not agree with it ask yourself two questions: 1) why did God make you born outside of heaven? and 2) why you have to do “works” to go back to heaven? Isn’t it because you are not worthy of Heaven, and now you have to prove yourself to be eligible to go to heaven?
This bring us to a very important question. God who has expelled the whole human race(including little babies) outside of “Heaven” as a punishment of Adam’s sin, how can he contradicts Himself and take them back in? My answer is “HE CANNOT”, UNLESS, UNLESS, UNLESS, ………HE IS A LOVING GOD……..
Now the question comes how does a LOVING God does it? Bible says that he does it by showing his extreme love for human beings and taking their punishment on himself. Bible also says that God made this possible though Jesus Christ by dying on the cross for the sins of the whole world. This is an amazing act of LOVE that only GOD can do it, that difficult for human beings to fathom. However without this there is no other hope for any one of us, not even for little babies. Since God has taken the punishment on himself on the cross, now I can say that little babies who die(Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Budhists etc.) will go to heaven because of the Amazing Love and Grace of a LOVING God. Without him we have no hope.
Final Conclusion:
Be default we all are sinners in God’s eyes and not worthy of heaven. As a result we try to prove ourselves worthy of heaven(Jannat) through our good works, prayers, etc. However this does not give us any assurance and we continue to repeat the same actions day after day and year after year without any hope of going to heaven specially after we die. This situation is even more scary for children who do not have any chance to commit a good work to go to heaven. But thank God that we have a God who loves all of us including you, and has taken the punishment away from all of us so that through his infinite Love and Grace we can go into his presence after we die. This invitation is for all of us even for you. Bible says that “whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life”. You can claim that everlasting life today by confessing your sins and accepting Jesus Christ in your heart as your savior. God’s Love for you have made it possible without it none of us have any hope.
